Multimodality engages the technical of two or more modes and the creations of feelings, emotions, embodied reactions.
Communication modes are the ways that we present, deliver, transport information. There are three main modes — visual modes, sonic modes and interactive modes.
This is the original picture I captured from a soccer game I watched on live website few years ago.
The figure in the picture with his hands cover his face is the coach of the losing team. A soccer game usually last for 90 minuets and the game in this picture had a 4 minuets injury time. If it’s a draw, each team have 1 point.But at 92:55, the other team scored a goal and toke 3 points, left the losing team with 0 point.
The focus is on the figure and blur the background brings out the main character.
And the text ” WHEN YOUR ASSESSMENT IS GOIN G TO DUE…” highlighted by bright yellow colour and text ” AND YOU CAN’T EVEN UNDERSTAND THE BRIEF” highlighted by red colour compliment the figure and the “last minute ” situation.
